Brain Tumors Research

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Center at UCSF was established in 1999 through the generosity of philanthropist and filmmaker Michael Douglas. The center is dedicated to research, focusing on the biology and therapy of primary brain tumors in children.

Clinical trials are studies of drugs and treatments involving patients. If you have questions about your child participating in a clinical trial, please contact UCSF neurosurgery nurses Emlia Clow, Anne Fedoroff, Margaretta Page or Jane Rabbitt at (415) 353-2652.

More information about clinical trials for pediatric brain tumors is available at the Department of Neurological Surgery Web site.
