Primary Care at China Basin

UCSF Primary Care at China Basin, located near our Mission Bay campus, provides convenient care for both children and adults. As a primary care practice, we work as a team to promote healing and wellness through health counseling and patient education, screenings, and disease diagnosis and treatment.

Our doctors offer the full range of primary care services, including:

  • Preventive health care
  • Treatment of short-term and chronic illnesses
  • Same-day urgent care appointments
  • Secure electronic communication with your medical team
  • Video visits with your primary care provider

Should your child need medical attention that's beyond the scope of our clinic, we'll connect you with the right UCSF Health specialist.

After-Hours Care

For evening, weekend and holiday appointments, we have partnered with the Pediatric Evening Referral Clinic (PERC). If your child has an urgent medical need outside of normal office hours, please call (415) 387-9293 to schedule an appointment at PERC.

PERC is at 3838 California St., Suite 111. It offers weekday evening appointments from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; you may call to make an appointment starting at 5 p.m. On weekends and holidays, it's open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with scheduling available starting at 7:30 a.m.

NOTE: If you think your child may be having a life-threatening emergency, immediately call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
