Dr. Jyothi Marbin is a pediatrician who provides primary care for children and teens.

In her research, Marbin focuses on training doctors to provide more inclusive and equitable care to create healthier communities.

Marbin earned her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF as part of the Pediatric Leadership Advancing Health Equity Program, which combines training in patient care with development of health care leaders working to improve the wellness of children in historically marginalized communities.

Marbin is passionate about health justice. She directs the UC Berkeley – UCSF Joint Medical Program, which aims to empower the next generation of doctors to solve public health and health equity challenges.
