Approximately 25 percent of children will experience some type of sleep problem during childhood. Sleep disorders can have serious consequences for kids, ranging from learning and behavior issues to cardiovascular problems.
Our Sleep Disorders Center specializes in the evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders in infants, children and adolescents. Our goal is to optimize the quality of our patients' sleep to help them reach their personal potential, and to minimize the stress of sleep deprivation and sleep-disordered breathing on their bodies.
The conditions we treat include:
Our team is led by one of the few pediatric lung specialists in the nation who is also board certified in sleep medicine. We also have sleep technologists on staff who can help with technical issues regarding equipment such as CPAP masks.
Sleep disorders may be evaluated in our Pediatric Sleep Laboratory, which conducts overnight sleep studies that measure the child's sleep cycles and stages.
You'll need a referral from your child's pediatrician or specialist to make an appointment. Once you have the referral, please call the number below.
