Rheumatology Clinic
The UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic cares for children of all ages who have a broad range of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases involving the joints, muscles and connective tissues. Conditions we treat include juvenile arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, lupus, morphea, vasculitis, scleroderma and periodic fever or autoinflammatory syndromes. Because rheumatic diseases behave differently in a child's body than in an adult's, our clinic features rheumatologists who are pediatric specialists – knowledgeable in the particular therapies and treatments that are most effective for children. They work closely with other pediatric specialists, doctors, physical and occupational therapists, nurses and social workers to provide your child with comprehensive care.
