Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine

Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine provides integrative and holistic treatment to children with autism and ADHD. Our approach combines conventional medicine with nutrition, behavior management and various complementary treatment modalities.

Evaluations

At the first visit, we will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your child's overall health, including strengths and abilities as well as challenges. You and your child will then receive a treatment plan that emphasizes natural and safe treatments that complement your family's unique needs and values. The entire initial assessment takes place over two one-hour sessions, between one and three weeks apart. In between visits, there may be laboratory tests or additional information gathering.

After the initial evaluation and treatment recommendations, we will continue to work together over time to adjust or change the treatment plan to ensure your child's long-term success.

Before Your Visit

The Osher Center accepts most medical insurance, but may not be covered by HMO plans without referrals from your child's primary care physician. You are responsible for obtaining any required authorizations or referrals before your child's appointment. Please consult your health insurance policy or health insurance customer service agent.

We will ask you to fill out an intake form detailing your child's medical history. This will help us gather the information we need to make the best use of our time together. Please return the form before the appointment, along with any medical reports or other evaluations that are relevant and would help us in our assessment.
