UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals Pediatric Psychiatry & Psychology program offers outpatient evaluation and treatment of a full range of mental disorders and behavioral disturbances in children and adolescents as well as support for their families. Both psychiatric and psychological assessments are available.
The program strives to set the standard for excellent mental health care. We balance general care with focus on particular areas of expertise, including autism and other forms of pervasive developmental disorder, affective disorders such as depression and mania, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and Tourette syndrome and tic disorders.
