Who We Are

The Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Program is one of the leading programs of its kind in the United States. We are dedicated to improving our patients' quality of life by focusing on early detection, state-of-the-art treatment and long-term follow-up care. We are one of the few pediatric centers to be accredited as a Pulmonary Hypertension Comprehensive Center of Care by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Patients come from across the U.S. to be treated at our center.

A key component of our program is the combined expertise of our many specialists. Our team includes pediatric intensive care specialists, neonatologists, pediatric cardiologists, pediatric pulmonologists and pediatric nurse practitioners, all with expertise in caring for children with pulmonary hypertension.

We're equally committed to helping advance research on new and promising treatments. Our patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials and are among the first to benefit from new findings. We host the preeminent annual international conference on neonatal and pediatric pulmonary vascular disease, which includes education sessions for families and patients.

Conditions We Treat

We care for infants, children and teens with all types of pulmonary hypertension, including idiopathic pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary hypertension of the newborn, and pulmonary hypertension caused by various other conditions.
