Dermatology Clinic
UCSF's Pediatric Dermatology Clinic cares for infants, children and adolescents with both common and rare skin disorders. Our team of board certified pediatric dermatologists and experienced clinicians are specially trained and certified to care for children. They have a deep knowledge of treating pediatric skin, hair, and nail disorders and understanding of how different procedures affect your child's health, appearance, and skin healing.
The clinic offers diagnosis and care for atopic dermatitis; psoriasis; disorders of keratinization; inherited skin conditions, such as ectodermal dysplasias; birthmarks, such as the moles some babies are born with; moles with an atypical appearance; and many other skin, hair and nail conditions.
We also offer specialized care for pediatric patients with vascular malformations and vascular tumors, such as hemangiomas, in the UCSF Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies Center.
