About me

Dr. Telly Cheung is a pediatric gastroenterologist who cares for children with digestive conditions. He has a special interest in celiac disease and is working to create a central medical home where patients can obtain screening, diagnosis and management of their disease. He aims to collaborate with leaders in the celiac community to champion meaningful improvements in how care is delivered.

In his research, Cheung explores how social adversities affect children with celiac disease. His goal is to identify these risks to ensure that every child receives the care and support they need to thrive.

Cheung earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at UCSF.
