Pediatric Inherited Cardiac Arrhythmias Program
The Pediatric Inherited Cardiac Arrhythmias Program cares for children with genetic conditions affecting the heart’s rhythm. Our team has advanced training in fields ranging from genetics to electrophysiology (studies used to assess the heart's electrical system). Drawing on the latest research and their expertise in proven techniques, our specialists screen, treat and manage both common and rare inherited arrhythmia syndromes.
Our approach is to partner with families, providing them with personalized information that helps them understand every aspect of their child’s disease and treatment. We also collaborate with adult care providers in the UCSF Cardiovascular Genetics Program to deliver comprehensive family care and provide patients with access to clinical trials (studies that use human volunteers to evaluate promising new treatments).
Please reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. We are here to support your family as you learn about your heart health history and navigate a diagnosis.
