Sarah Nathan is a family nurse practitioner who cares for adolescents and young adults. She provides primary care as well as treatment for those with eating disorders. She is particularly interested in sexual and reproductive health for youth. Her career has been dedicated to working with young people, and she is passionate about providing accessible, quality health care centered on their needs and desires.

In her research, Nathan is interested in pregnancy preferences, contraceptive decision-making, and clinical and policy interventions to promote sexual and reproductive autonomy for youth.

Nathan earned her doctorate and master's degree in nursing at UCSF, where she was also a fellow in the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health program. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
