Neha Bhasin

Dr. Neha Bhasin is a hematologist-oncologist who cares for children with sickle cell disease, an inherited blood disorder that changes the shape of red blood cells, causing pain and other problems throughout the body. She educates her patients and their families about the disease and available therapies, striving to provide the best care possible. She also works to help improve sickle cell care worldwide.

Bhasin's research focuses on the needs of sickle cell patients. She aims to identify key areas for improvement and then explore ways to implement those changes.

Bhasin earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Stony Brook Medicine. At the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, she completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology as well as a certificate in translational and clinical research.
