Kristen Gosnell is a nurse who cares for mothers and unborn infants.

Gosnell's research interests include brain development in complicated twin pregnancies as well as in-utero treatment of bladder and kidney disease.

After completing her bachelor's degree in nursing at Purdue University, Gosnell began her pediatric nursing career at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. In 2003, her work as a travel nurse brought her to San Francisco, where she cared for patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. After finishing her master's degree at UCSF, she worked as a clinical coordinator for the Division of Pediatric Surgery.

Gosnell is president of the Fetal Therapy Nurse Network. She is also a member of the UCSF Clinical InQuERI Council, which supports nurses' participation in research that aim to improve patient care.
