Eve Rorison is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients undergoing plastic or reconstructive surgery. She guides and supports children and their families from presurgical evaluation through follow-up care. She also sees patients with conditions involving the skull and face, and has expertise in treating plagiocephaly (a flat spot on the head) and ear abnormalities.

Rorison's research focuses on evaluating quality improvement efforts in health care systems and quality-of-life outcomes for patients. She is particularly interested in outcomes for babies with craniosynostosis, a treatable syndrome in which the skull bones fuse prematurely, potentially affecting brain growth.

Rorison earned a bachelor's degree in public health studies from Johns Hopkins University. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from the Columbia University School of Nursing. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.

Prior to joining UCSF, Rorison worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in otolaryngology and craniofacial medicine, caring for patients with conditions related to the skull or face. She is an associate member of the American Cleft Palate – Craniofacial Association and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
