Elizabeth Salsburg

Dr. Elizabeth Salsburg is a pediatrician who works with UCSF through an arrangement with UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians (UBCP), a multispecialty foundation connecting doctors and group practices throughout the greater Bay Area. She specializes in caring for children with complex medical needs and providing lactation support to mothers of newborns.

Salsburg earned her medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she also completed a residency in pediatrics. She completed additional training at the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network in Australia. Salsburg received a Gold award from Berkeley Parents Press for being one of the area's best pediatricians, according to those who submitted votes. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Salsburg believes that community doctors should be involved in their medical community as well as the wider community. She has served on a committee focused on improving quality of care and the patient experience. When her children were young, she volunteered locally for Little League Baseball, helped organize school fundraisers, cheered for their sports teams and applauded at their jazz concerts.
