Dr. Katherine Y. Wu is a pediatrician who specializes in caring for critically ill infants, with a focus on newborns. She has particular interests in chronic lung disease and hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (brain injury resulting from insufficient oxygen or blood flow). She is also interested in quality improvement in health care.

Wu earned her medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a fellowship in neonatology at UCSF.

When not working, Wu enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
