Dr. Glenn Rosenbluth is a pediatric hospitalist, a specialist in coordinating and managing the care of hospitalized children, who are often being treated by many specialists. His special interests include caring for children with medically complex conditions, improving patient safety and other issues related to quality improvement, and medical education.
Rosenbluth earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medicine and completed a residency in pediatrics, serving as chief resident, at UCSF. He also completed his training in hospital medicine at UCSF.
Rosenbluth joined the UCSF faculty in 2005 and was one of four doctors to receive the UCSF Exceptional Physician Award in 2006. He serves as associate director of the pediatric residency program and as director of quality and safety programs for the Office of Graduate Medical Education.
