Bella A. Doshi

Dr. Bella A. Doshi is a pediatric hospitalist, a specialist in caring for children who are hospitalized. She acts as a liaison between patients' families and their various health care providers, coordinating care when multiple specialists are involved. She has cared for patients at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland for more than 20 years and serves as its director of hospital medicine.

After completing bachelor's degrees in French literature and biology at Stanford University, Doshi earned her medical degree at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF, serving as chief resident. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Doshi is a San Francisco native. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family, trying new foods, exercising and practicing yoga.
