Stanley Vance, MD

Adolescent medicine specialist

Dr. Stanley Vance is an adolescent medicine specialist with special expertise in treating gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender patients and adolescents with eating disorders. He sees patients in the Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic and the Child and Adolescent Gender Clinic. He also provides inpatient care to hospitalized teens with eating disorders.

Vance received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He then came to UCSF to complete a residency in pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in adolescent medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.

Vance is an assistant professor in the UCSF Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine.
