Sue-Jean Santa Maria is a family nurse practitioner caring for and providing health education to patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Santa Maria earned a master's degree in nursing at the Texas Woman's University College of Nursing. Before coming to UCSF, she worked with underserved populations and primarily cared for Asian American immigrants.

Santa Maria has lived in Taiwan. She loves to travel, hike and try new restaurants.
