Nurse practitioner
Stacie Rohovit is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients in the intensive care nursery (ICN) and manages the ICN team of neonatal and pediatric nurse practitioners. In patient care, her primary interest is in helping premature and sick babies admitted to the ICN recover and go home with their families. With that goal, she particularly enjoys educating parents about their child's condition. As a manager, she focuses on quality improvement – that is, any appropriate measure or modification that will improve the ICN experience for patients and their families.
Rohovit earned her master's degree in nursing and trained for her certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner at the UCSF School of Nursing. She is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Vermont Oxford Network.
