Dr. Rajesh Daftary is a specialist in pediatric emergency medicine. In addition to caring for children who need immediate care at UCSF, he serves as medical director of pediatric emergency medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

Daftary received his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Children's National Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Texas Children's Hospital. He received his master of public health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
