Dr. Philip Cheng is a cardiologist who cares for children and infants with heart conditions, including at the neonatal intensive care unit. He is interested in treating congenital heart disease in newborns and providing neonatal care for premature and sick infants in underserved communities.

Cheng earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF Fresno. He completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at UC San Diego and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at UCSF. He also earned a master of business administration at Oregon Health & Science University.

Cheng is proud to serve the community of San Joaquin County.
