Pediatric palliative care physician
Lover of rainy days and exploring the world

Dr. Negar Sheibani is a specialist in pediatric palliative care. She works to ensure that children with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones have a team to support them in navigating the health care system and any difficult decisions they have to make.

Her practice is founded on the belief that all children have the right to live comfortably and to feel heard and respected. She hopes to make a difference not only for her patients and their families but also for the entire health care community.

Sheibani earned her medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine. She completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at UC Davis.

Sheibani spent most of her career as a pediatric critical care specialist but eventually realized that relationships and conversations with her patients and their families were what gave her the most joy. She went back into medical training to pursue pediatric hospice and palliative care, which is now her passion.

If Sheibani weren't in medicine, she would have been a meteorologist. She binge-watches the Weather Channel.
