Social worker
Monica Medeiros is a social worker who cares for patients at all stages of pregnancy, from preconception to parenthood. She helps families navigate the hospital experience and connects them with resources. She also provides supportive counseling for patients adjusting to hospitalization or transitioning into parenthood.
Medeiros has a particular interest in helping immigrants, marginalized women and San Francisco's homeless population.
Medeiros received her master's degree in social welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
