Neonatologist and pediatric cardiac critical care specialist

Dr. Minso Kim is a neonatologist and specialist in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine who cares for children with heart disease before and after surgery. She focuses on newborns with congenital heart disease, especially those born prematurely or at low birth weight. Her research focuses on how to best provide breathing support for babies after heart surgery.
Kim earned her medical degree from the New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at NYU Langone Health, followed by a fellowship in neonatology at New York – Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
