Megan Bailey is a physician assistant who cares for children with brain or spinal cord disorders that may require surgery. In addition to treating patients before and after surgery, she performs new patient assessments and enjoys taking something as complex as neurosurgery and teaching families about it in ways they can understand.

At the University of California, Davis, Bailey earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology as well as a master of health services degree in physician assistant studies.

Prior to joining UCSF, Bailey cared for patients in the pediatric neurosurgery department at Valley Children's Hospital in Madera. A Southern California native, she enjoys reading, hiking and exploring new restaurants in her free time.
