Kelsey Merl is a nurse practitioner who specializes in evaluating and caring for children when there is concern about child maltreatment, including, physical abuse, sexual abuse, serious neglect and medical child abuse.
After earning a bachelor's degree in nursing at Seattle University, Merl earned master's degrees in nursing and public health through the joint degree program at Johns Hopkins University.
Merl is also a sexual assault forensic examiner and works closely with the multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of survivors and their families.
