Nurse practitioner

Katrina Unpingco is a nurse practitioner who cares for children with noncancerous blood disorders. She has special interests in caring for patients with bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia and von Willebrand disease, and for those experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding.

Unpingco earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at San Diego State University. She earned her master's degree in nursing in UCSF's family nurse practitioner program.

Unpingco is the Western states representative of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation's nurse working group.
