Jessica Tame is an orthoptist, an eye care professional who specializes in visual development and eye muscle function disorders. She supports doctors in detecting, diagnosing and managing binocular vision dysfunction, a problem with eye alignment that can cause double vision. She also treats patients with strabismus (crossed eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye) using eye patches, eye exercises, prisms and glasses.

Tame earned a master of orthoptics degree at the University of Technology Sydney. She is a member of the American Association of Certified Orthoptists.

In her free time, Tame enjoys traveling, skiing and resistance training.
