Dr. Jeff Ni is a pediatric pulmonologist, a specialist in caring for young patients with respiratory conditions. He is particularly interested in treating those with asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary complications from sickle cell disease, as well as patients who need a tracheostomy or ventilator to breathe.

Ni has conducted research exploring the development of pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs).

Ni earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Chicago and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Stanford University.

Ni is a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). In addition to a resident of the year award from the University of Chicago, he has also earned honors for his research, including a Lightning Talk award at Stanford and both a Whitsett Award and an abstract scholarship from the ATS.
