Jazymne McCorvey is a nurse practitioner who cares for newborns, specializing in those who are premature, critically ill or facing complex medical challenges. She facilitates communication among providers to ensure coordinated and efficient treatment, whether patients are in neonatal intensive care units, newborn nurseries or other health care settings.
McCorvey earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Valdosta State University, followed by her master's degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, where she trained in the track for neonatal nurse practitioners. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
