Dr. Greta Peng is a pediatric neurologist who specializes in caring for children and young adults with brain, spinal, or peripheral nerve tumors. She is committed to working collaboratively with each patient's entire care team as well as to providing access to clinical trials (studies of promising new treatments). She also has a special interest in treating neurofibromatosis type I (a condition that predisposes a person to nervous system tumors) as well as neurologic complications of pediatric cancers.

In her research, Peng focuses on improving quality of life for children with brain tumors. She looks especially at how the health care system can better support families of diverse backgrounds.

Peng earned her medical degree at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. At UCSF, she completed a residency in pediatric neurology and a fellowship in pediatric neuro-oncology.

Outside of work, Peng enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
