Dr. Nilika Shah Singhal is a neurologist and specialist in epilepsy who finds satisfaction in all aspects of her work, caring for patients, teaching and pursuing research. Her studies have centered on understanding the epidemiology of a variety of diseases in pediatric neurology.

Singhal earned her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, serving as chief resident in the final year, and then completed a child neurology fellowship at UCSF. She next completed a one-year fellowship in pediatric epilepsy at UCSF and joined the staff in 2013.

During her free time, Singhal enjoys hiking in the Bay Area, practicing yoga and traveling.
