Dr. Lauren Shin is a pediatric neurologist who cares for patients with chronic headaches and other neurological conditions.

Shin's research focuses on expanding safe and effective treatment options for pediatric patients with headache disorders as well as on understanding other episodic childhood conditions related to migraine. In 2024, she received a Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award from the American Headache Society.

Shin earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Tufts Medical Center, followed by a residency in pediatric neurology at Boston Children's Hospital. She completed a fellowship in headache medicine at UCSF.

Shin is fluent in Korean. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines, traveling, going to concerts, drawing, and a "healthy dose" of reality TV shows.
