About me
Dr. Kristen Favel is a pediatric nephrologist who cares for children and adolescents with acute or chronic kidney problems, including those requiring dialysis and kidney transplant.
Favel's research focuses on improving the long-term kidney health of children and adolescents with diabetes.
Favel earned her medical degree and master of public health degree at the University of British Columbia. She completed a residency in pediatrics and fellowships in pediatric nephrology and clinical research at British Columbia Children's Hospital.
