Camila Cribb Cribb Fabersunne

Dr. Camila Cribb Fabersunne is a pediatrician and hospitalist, a specialist in the care of hospitalized children. She has expertise in managing care for children with complex and serious medical conditions, including those who depend on medical technologies for survival. She serves as medical director of the Pediatric Complex Care Coordination Program.

As a public health practitioner and researcher, Cribb Fabersunne seeks to advance health equity by dismantling systemic oppressions, including racism. Topics of her investigations include ways to expand and improve complex care services for all children, the link between exclusionary school discipline (removing kids from the classroom for misbehavior) and health outcomes, and child welfare systems. Passionate about medical education, she also studies how to train future doctors so as to create a more just health care system and she participates in the UCSF Bridges Medical Student Coaching Program.

Cribb Fabersunne earned her medical degree at Harvard Medical School and her master of public health degree at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UCSF, where she served as chief resident. She also completed a fellowship in pediatric complex care at UCSF.

Outside of work, Cribb Fabersunne is a mother and a novice runner. She loves to go camping.
