Brent Hisaka is a physical therapist who specializes in caring for children who want to start, maintain or return to an active lifestyle. He is particularly interested in working with patients whose sports are basketball, judo or weightlifting, including Olympic weightlifting.

Hisaka earned his bachelor's degree in exercise biology from the University of California, Davis. He earned his doctor of physical therapy degree at Samuel Merritt University and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist.

In addition to treating everyday musculoskeletal injuries, Hisaka is the physical therapy team lead for the Pediatric Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction Center. He has a passion for working with these patients, as well as other patients recovering after surgery, because of the personal bonds that develop over time. He enjoys guiding patients on their journeys back to doing what they love.
