Anita Markoff is a nurse practitioner and certified diabetes care and education specialist who cares for children with diabetes or other endocrine disorders. As part of a multidisciplinary team, she provides comprehensive, coordinated medical care and advocacy for her patients. She evaluates, diagnoses, treats and monitors acutely and chronically ill infants, children, adolescents and young adults who have conditions related to endocrine glands and the hormones they produce. She strives to provide family-centered care, supporting the needs of both her young patients and their families.
Markoff earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at Syracuse University. She has also completed training as a certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner.
In her free time, Markoff enjoys many creative pursuits, including making jewelry and cooking with her family.
