About me
Andrea E. Pedersen is a nurse practitioner at UCSF who cares for young adults, adolescents and children with a variety of endocrine conditions. She specializes in addressing hormonal imbalances as they relate to puberty, growth and body alignment.
Pedersen earned her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She completed her training as a pediatric nurse practitioner in UCSF's advanced practice program and joined UCSF's pediatric endocrinology team in 2012. She has advanced training in childhood development and adolescent development. She is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society and Mind the Gap.
