Surgical Director, Pediatric Heart Transplantation

Dr. Peter C. Kouretas is a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon who specializes in heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support for patients with heart disease. He serves as surgical director of the programs for pediatric heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.

Kouretas' research focuses on the use of cardiac devices in heart transplantation and postoperative recovery.
