Megan Stevens Dombrowski, FNP, MSN

Family nurse practitioner

Megan Dombrowski is a family nurse practitioner who cares for children as they prepare for surgery. Her work includes carrying out blood work and other tests.

Dombrowski completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at Georgetown University. She is certified as a registered nurse first assistant, allowing her to assist in surgical procedures.

Prior to joining UCSF in 2018, Dombrowski worked as a nurse practitioner with the pediatric anesthesia team at Children's National Medical Center as well as the pediatric general surgery team at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. At Stanford, she was the nurse practitioner for the adolescent bariatric surgery program, helping it to earn accreditation from the American College of Surgeons. Her nursing experience also includes working with hospitalized patients undergoing surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
