Physician liaisons are referring doctors' connection to care at UCSF. We can expedite referrals, resolve any issues that come up and ensure you have the best possible experience when working with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals.
Physician Liaison Service
Our services include:
- Providing information on new pediatric specialists and services
- Addressing questions and concerns
- Visiting referring physicians, medical groups and health plan organizations to provide information about services at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals
- Arranging visits by UCSF specialists to give talks to a group or institution
If your practice doesn't already have an assigned physician liaison, please contact us and we'll assign one to you.
We respond to emails within two business days. If you call the service outside regular working hours, a liaison will contact you the next business day.
