The Oakland Outpatient Center sits across the street from our main hospital in a six-story state-of-the-art building that opened in 2018. The two UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland facilities are connected by bridges on several levels.
Dozens of pediatric outpatient services are housed here, from the arrhythmia and audiology clinics to the Liver Center, Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes and many more.

Parking
You'll find paid parking 24/7 in the parking garage on Martin Luther King Jr. Way between 52nd and 53rd streets.
There's a maximum charge per 24-hour period. Payment for a full day gives you in-and-out privileges if you keep your receipts as you exit and re-enter the garage. You can buy discount parking coupons from the parking attendant.
The garage also has bike racks.
Metered parking is available near the hospital on 52nd Street.
Getting here: BART shuttles
Our free shuttle service runs between the main hospital and the MacArthur BART station Monday to Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. (just after midnight). There's no service on weekends or holidays.
Where to board at the BART station: In front of the MacArthur station. Look for the shuttle with the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital logo.
Where to board at the hospital: Pickup is at the main entrance.
Getting here: AC Transit buses
When the BART shuttle isn't operating, you can take an AC Transit bus between the MacArthur station and the hospital.
Bus from BART to the hospital: Walk to the bus stop at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Way at 40th Street. Take AC Transit bus line #18 from there. Ride the bus (3 minutes), heading north (toward Berkeley). Get off at the southeast corner of 53rd Street and MLK Jr. Way. Then walk (2 minutes) to MLK Jr. Way and 52nd Street.
Bus from the hospital to BART: Cross Martin Luther King Jr. Way at 52nd Street and walk to the northwest corner of MLK Jr. Way and 52nd Street. Take the AC Transit bus line #18, heading south (toward downtown Oakland). Get off at the southwest corner of MLK Jr. Way and 40th Street. Walk along MLK Jr. Way and turn right at 40th Street to reach the BART station.

Eating options
The Espresso Café espresso bar offers grab-and-go items. It's open Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more options, head over to our main hospital, where the cafeteria-style Friendly Café offers a wide selection of food and drink during the day. Vending machines near the entrance to the cafe are available 24 hours a day.
To find local restaurants – including ones with takeout and delivery service – ask for a list in the main hospital at the Family Resource and Information Center (by the Friendly Café) or at the welcome desk (at the hospital entrance).
