David Robinowitz, MD

Pediatric anesthesiologist

Dr. David L. Robinowitz is a pediatric anesthesiologist who cares for children undergoing surgery or procedures that require anesthesia. His research interest is in abdominal organ transplantation in children and applying simulation, informatics and other technologies to enhance the quality of pediatric anesthesia.

Robinowitz graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1999 and came to UCSF where he completed residencies in pediatrics in 2002 and anesthesiology in 2008. He served as pediatric chief resident, finished two years of a fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine and completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia in 2009. He is an assistant professor of clinical anesthesia at the UCSF School of Medicine. Robinowitz has written several chapters and professional journal articles. He speaks medical Spanish.
