Cornelia Latronica

Pediatric emergency care physician

Dr. Cornelia Latronica cares for children, adolescents and young adults in the emergency room. She has special expertise in caring for children who are victims of abuse.

Latronica earned her medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, she completed a residency in pediatrics, serving as chief resident, as well as a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine.

Latronica has a special interest in medical education and serves as co-program director of the pediatric emergency medicine fellowship, and previously served as medical student clerkship director. She has worked with the Alameda County Emergency Medical Services Agency to ensure that emergency reponders are trained to provide the best pediatric care during an emergency.
