Allyn Boone is a registered dietitian who specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy to adolescents and young adults with disordered eating. She has extensive training in family-based treatment, in which family members develop skills and learn about resources that help them take an active role in their child's treatment. She also provides nutritional counseling for patients of all ages with a wide range of health concerns.

Boone earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). She joined UCSF in 2012 after working at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for five years.

Boone is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
