Mark Laret, CEO of UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, issued the following letter to patients at the end of a two-day strike by patient care technical workers.

Dear Patients and Families of UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital,

The labor union activity of the last two days is officially over and we are back to normal operations and services as of 4 a.m. today.

We are grateful to you for your patience and understanding. The quality of your care and the experience you have here is always our very highest priority. Thank you for choosing us as your health care provider.
