Television and radio spots featuring the UCSF Heart and Vascular Center kick-off UCSF Medical Center's three-year partnership with KGO on April 5. The campaign, titled "UCSF Medical Update," will feature a different topic each month to increase consumer awareness about the programs, services and experts at UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital.

The first spots explore advances in heart and vascular care and feature Dr. Louis Messina, director of the UCSF Heart and Vascular Center and chief of Vascular Surgery, and Dr. Jeffrey Olgin, chief of the UCSF Cardiac Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology Service.

Television spots, one 60 seconds and another 30 seconds in length, will air on ABC7/KGO-TV during top-rated programs such as ABC Morning News, Good Morning America, Live! With Regis and Kelly, Oprah, Early Evening News, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Late News and Nightline.

The 60-second radio spot will play on KGO AM 810 during key listening periods throughout the day, including the morning commute hours.
